 Welcome to Coldstream

The Coldstream neighborhood is a nice, quiet, well established neighborhood built primarily in the 1970s with a second phase built in the 1980s. An abundance of mature trees line the well-kept streets making it a great place for families out for a walk, bikers heading over to the park, or runners getting in those extra miles.

With over 1,000 households, Coldstream is one of the largest connected neighborhoods in the state of South Carolina. Nestled on the edge of Lexington County, between Old Bush River Road, Coldstream Drive, and Nursery Road, Coldstream is less than 15 miles from downtown Columbia, less than 10 miles from downtown Lexington, and right next to the Lake Murray Dam, Saluda Shoals Park, and the Harbison corridor.

Beautiful Views

Coldstream is a beautiful neighborhood with gorgeous sunset views. Once home to Rawls Creek Golf Course, cart paths have transitioned to beautiful walking paths now owned and maintained by Irmo Parks & Recreation.

Parks & Recreation

Across the street from the Bush River Road entrance to the neighborhood is Saluda Shoals Park, boasting miles of paved and unpaved nature trails along the river, plus a fenced in doggy park. Also operated by Irmo Parks & Recreation, Saluda Shoals hosts a myriad of recreational events all throughout the year.

Shopping & Dining

The neighborhood is less than 10 minutes from the Harbison corridor and Lake Murray Blvd. with miles of shops and a myriad of dining options.

Lake Murray

Entrances to the neighborhood are less than two miles from the famous Lake Murray Dam, recreation areas, and boating dock.

Local Flavor

Coldstream is near the Town of Irmo which is the ‘Home of the Okra Strut,’ a two-day festival hosted each year with live music, local vendors, and lots of fun.
